Winter

Ok WTF I woke up with a hyper extended shoulder and don't know what happen other than the fact I'm getting old. Well yesterday was a pretty good session, learned a new technique and got a good pedal to the shin...such a good day. Even though winter is here in NorCal.
Peace

It's All Ready Fall

Well we didn't get much of a summer in my opinion which I am fine with since I spend most of my free time on a black top, but then I got lost in thought and remembered I haven't been to the Clocktower at all this summer, I guess with Pete always touring there isn't a need to go down to the south bay. I'm going to make it a point to get down there maybe this weekend, depending if I can hit this combo this week.
Any way as I troll my way through Facebook and Instagram, I had another window open on the Vimeo page looking for some Video of the Day type shit and my prayers were answered, Bloodlines is Pete Brandts latest edit at the infamous ClockTower, I wonder if he made the OST? Well grab a joint and coffee and let the homie show you how to ride a bmx in the most busiest area of SF.
Peace

G-Force
I really need to get into more posting, summer is here and a brotha man got like 2 jobs so we shall try to keep you updated. I heard they might be a lil jammy jam up in norcal, in June, oh yeah whiplash master and resident bass player Kerry Gatt has moved to the 707. Our scene is as big as SoCal but the legends status we got up here is well, legendary.
Last weekend I was out stunt'n on the panty dropper and decided to film a couple of links, nothing big but i did rediscover mccircles, let's see where this new/lost technique will take me.
And yes this is the hardest hip hop beat rendition of The Transformers classic intro.
Peace

He Pedal Where??

OneLoveCrew member Shayne K took a trip down the coast during Voodoo Jam weekend.  This was his first of many more trips to come.  But for now check out his sick trip down to Monterey CA.  Filmed with only GoPro's only.  Puff!

4/20Jam Edit

Well we could not ask for a better day.  The 4/20Jam went down last weekend.  Plenty of sun and fun.  Its a good thing those SoCal dudes didnt show up.  All the prizes were split up to everyone who came out.  We call that up here CaliLove.  Best trick went to OSG, second place went to Sparker.  I love NorCal, for a couple of reasons. One, Everybody loves to get together for beers, bikes, and BBQ.  Two It's NorCal, and if you never been up here then you will never know.
Well here's the edit.  Enjoy!

4/20 Jam in 4 Days

Yep 4 days left.  Its looking like its going to be a great turn out.   Maybe there might be some footage, its hard to film and ride, sorry I'd rather ride than film, but if you really want to catch the action then you're going to have to come out, especially if you are already in California.  Funny how the NorCal guys can rally down for a jam but we never hear from those SoCal guys....much love to your scene but you guys really need to take a trip up here.  Don't forget we are holding our first flat best trick contest during the jam.  Prize will be giving out to the best trick.  Big shoutout to our sponsors for helping out this event!  See you this Saturday!

Daily News

Well it's been a while since the last posting, so Im gonna get ya'll caught up.  First up, the OneLoveCrew is now sponsored by PrimoBMX.  Eric(sales guru & fellow hiphopjunkie) @ John(TM) have been looking out for the crew since day one.  We are really stoked on being part of a company that has been a big part in BMX history.  Look for our welcome edit filmed by Shayne K. coming soon.

Second up, Shayne K. has officially started a new NorCal BMX house.  Current tennets include Steve "Muscle" Hearn and Dave "NipsyHustle" Debuono. A killer backyard with a palm tree, multiple rack system for all the whips , and an ill ass fire pit,  these guys just went from ashy to classy.

Third up, almost two weeks ago,  the crew went out to Walnut Creek to ride with Kerry Gatt, Ed Benoit, and Dylan Worsley.  To say the least, this was an epic session.  Sorry folks there was no filming went down at this session.  After the session Kerry took us out to one of the local pubs for a few pitcher of brew.  While out on the patio, Andrew Arroyo stopped by.  I though he was a myth, but no he was there in the flesh.  He still rides and occasionally stops for sleep out in Napa in his VW.

the realness
And last but not least, VoodooJam2012 is going down today!  If you're there please drink a hurricane for me at the event.  So stoked for Scott & Terry to bring back one of the most legit American contest ever.  Good luck to all the riders, and for those who made the journey by car, drive safe.  Im out.

The Norcal Invasion

Once again I like to thank everyone who came out to the One Love Jam. The journey started early, we had to pick up Dave DeBunono in LA. Good thing too, the rain was coming. Good bye Norcal, hello Socal.  We hit LA with no traffic. The weather was great but forecast was saying that the highs on Saturday will be up to 78 degrees. Thats something you got to say for winter in LA county. We had a few minutes to spare so we got a bite to eat at the Deny's. After lunch we picked up Dave at LAX. Next we are drove to Bo Wade's day spot in Redondo Beach.

Bo has a pretty sick day spot in the park down the street from his house. After the session we took advantage of our surroundings. This was also the first time we ran into a problem with Babylon, I guess someone was bored. So we got our wrist slapped and was told  "Don't be a victim.". It was time to grab a bite to eat at Bo's favorite burrito joint. Afterwards we headed back to lab, changed socks, and headed to his night time spot. Bo is all about riding, watch out for him this year. A few hours in and 2 more riders showed up. Brett Crothwer and Bill Freeman. Brett was enjoying the spot. I meet this dude 10 years ago. Good to see he's still shredding.

The next morning before we could hit Studio City for a little pre-jam action, a quick detour to see Eric@Tip Plus. Eric has been helping us out from the beginning. Good looking Eric. We lit up some Cheese and headed to Long Beach. We arrived on the spot to see Eric had went to lunch. We sat outside and waited till he got back. Eric greeted us with smile when he got back from lunch. He had everything ready to go. Thanks again Eric. You helped out big kid.

After Tip Plus,  Studio City was next. There was a pre-jam going down. This was a great day, sun was shinning, not a cloud in the sky. Once there you could see riders were already throwing down. Johnthan the Studio City local shows up on his street bike, but later trades it for his flat. The Duke was also in town for the event. He escaped the harsh Georgia snow, for some sunny, warm weather. Norcal was in full force. All of the Bay came down. Vegas Mike drove North,South Bay Area down to the event. Jason got most of the East Bay. We caught up with Vegas Mike and the Bay later that day. The session went on till after dark. Day was busting out. Dirty Hearn and Dylan were also showing skills in the lot. Of course after the session we hit up some Thai food. The other restaurant was closed, but this Thai place was not that bad. A little cheaper too. After dinner we were off to LA Richards for rest. Tomorrow is going to be a big day.

The next day started early. Richard was up before us, he had to run some errands before the jam. We got some breakfast across the street, rolled up, and off to Studio City. Once there  I saw that Nocal presents was heavy at this event.  Day was all over the parking lot as well as Dylan busting out. Sparker was laying down his signature move "the drunk driver"(busdriver to half bar spin to slider), Dirty was riding so hard and fast. It was great to see Sean McKinney from Revenge Industries make it out. I even saw the guy ride for a bit.  The Studio City lot is big enough for any type of style rider. Although Dirty, Day and Dylan looked like they could use a little more. As the day rolled on, it was time for the group picture. Afterwards there was a drawing for 5 prize bags. Each bag was filled with product and a Primo Comet. As in the Athens Final Exam, we threw a foot down contest for a pair of cranks. Bill had the eye of the tiger, and walked away with a new pair of Primo cranks. Afterward some people rode, some people chilled. There was a lot of love in the air, and kush. It was a great time.

Thanks everyone again for coming out to the event. Also a big thanks to Eric@Tip Plus. Also thanks to Deco Bmx, Profile, Primo, Neon Media, Diversion TV, Day Smith Beanies, and Innertwine Clothing. See you guys next year.
